What Is Delta-8 THC?

     You may be familiar with Delta–8 THC, considering it’s not far off from the traditional Delta-9 THC.

     The only difference between these two cannabinoids is that Delta–8 carries a slightly different chemical structure than Delta-9.

     Delta–8 THC’s double bond is found on the 8th chain, whereas Delta-9 THC’s double bond is on the ninth chain.

     This means that both cannabinoids will produce slightly different effects. However, many see Delta–8 as a sort of “cannabis lite,” if you will, a cannabis product that’s not as strong as an original Delta-9 product.

     Just because Delta–8 isn’t as strong doesn’t mean it doesn’t produce beneficial effects.
